Guys, Ive got to tell you - Im a big Archon fan, and youve nailed the single player. Even bought a copy of this for an old Archon buddy, in anticipation that well duel again like old times. ...but wheres this multiplayer update you speak of "coming soon"...? Your last update appears to go back to November 7th, 2009... 5 stars if you eventually pull it off. 2 stars for putting us off this long, if not indefinitely.

I absolutely love this game! I played it on the Nes back in the day and was a big fan so I decided to download it and give it a try. Its a fantastic game and it holds its nostalgic value well!

Latest update absolutely takes this app to a new level. The ability to level up, the ascension board, and the new particle effects are really spectacular and add some depth. Great game.

Id really like to see archon 2 for ipod soon. Great game but archon 2 was better.

It needs 2 player capability to be any real fun. Otherwise $2 is a little expensive for what it is.

So impressed with this! It totally kept the 8bit versions fun intact! I hope its brought to the Mac. The developer really gets what makes Archon special. I really have no requests for improvement here! This is a must have game.

Where is multiplayer? It said soon, but that was in 2009 and its now 2012...

Remember playing this on the C64 & so glad you guys brought this classic back to life. Great game, thanks so much! Would it be possible in the future to have a classic playing mode, that looks just like the old version? Just for old times sake? That would push this app over the top for me!

Another of my favorite NES games, the iPhone/iPad version comes with (desperately needed) updated graphics, smooth controls, different board layouts and a conquest mode that adds a refreshing twist. Well done!

I cant disable the vibrations when my character gets hit. That makes it hard to play completely silent.

Please add Multiplayer and new missions in Conquest Mode please!!

Needs non-stretch version for iPad

Archon was one of my favorite games growing up. This is a PERFECT update to one of the coolest games of all time.

I really enjoy this game, but ever since iOS 7, the time, battery status bar now blocks a third of the screen. We really need an update to get rid of the status bar. Playing on iPad 2, latest iOS.

I have loved Archon since childhood in the 80s. It is one of the best games ever written on any digital platform. I was thrilled 5 years ago to learn that a company was reviving this excellent title. Archon is fundamentally a multiplayer game. Playing against the computer is a halfhearted substitute for duking it out with friends and family members. Without multiplayer, it isnt Archon. You promised in 2009 that this essential feature of the game was "coming soon." You havent updated it since. I am very, very disappointed. If there were any justice in the world of IP, the original FreeFall team would be able to take the rights to this title away from React and grant it to a company willing to do it justice.

No updates in six years and it shows. Developer is long gone and the game is buggy on new iOS devices.

I love this game, but now that Ive updated to iOS 9 it refuses to start. So sad... I have been really enjoying playing this!

Each time I try to open at the game it crashes seems like I wasted money on this

Game keeps crashing in 9.1. NEEDS an update please! Also you are lacking the multiplayer coming soon as had been promised :(
